Enable notifications from external applications

You can enable notifications from third-party applications.

About this task

To enable notifications to be sent from external applications, you need to authorize them by setting up an Application ID and API key in your configuration, and then have your external application use that ID and key when calling the Notifications API. Refer to the Notifications API information in the Ellucian XE Registry documentation for details about how to make those calls.

You can create credentials for third-party applications to use when sending notifications. Specify the applications that you want to allow to post notifications using the Mobile Notification API endpoint.
