User's view of the Events module

Users can view event information on their mobile devices.

The Events module contains three pages.

Page Description
The Events Page When users enter the Events module, Ellucian Mobile displays a list of all upcoming events, by date. This list shows the event title, the time and place of the event, and the event category.

The user can scroll through the list or use the Search field to find events of interest, and then tap that event to view detailed information.

The Event Details Page The Event Details page displays more detailed information about the event, including a description that the user can scroll through. The user can do any of the following:
  • Tap any links to open the link in a browser or take further action.
  • Tap the icons at the bottom of the page to add the event to the user's calendar or share the event through email, on Twitter, or on Facebook.

    Note that the email, Twitter, and Facebook icons might not be available, depending on the user's device hardware and settings.

The Events Filter page If there are some event categories that the user is not interested in, the user can tap Filter on the Events page to choose which event categories the user wants to see in the events list.

The user taps the categories to toggle that category on or off. A check mark on the right side of the page indicates that the event category is currently included for this user. When the user is done selecting the categories to include and exclude, the user taps Done to apply the changes.

The user can return to the Events Filter page and change these preferences at any time.
