Mobile Integration Server cache

The Mobile Integration Server caches certain data that changes infrequently.

The table below lists the types of information that are cached by the Mobile Integration Server, and shows the default item count (number of items of that type that are cached) and the default expiration time after which the data is refreshed. The table also indicates which SIS's (Banner, Colleague, or PowerCampus) use each type of information.

If you want to change the item count or refresh interval, use the procedure in Change the Mobile Integration Server caching behavior. To immediately clear the cache, use the procedure in Manually clear the Mobile Integration Server cache.

Grades Colleague A set of grade definitions that map the Grade ID from the student's record to a display value, such as "B+" for use in the Grades module.

This item refers to the grade scheme at your institution, which changes very rarely. This does not affect the timing of students being able to view their grades.

Terms Colleague Information about your institution's academic terms for use in the Courses and Grades modules. The default item count of 100 is enough for 25 years at 4 terms per year. 100 720
Courses Colleague Information about courses, such as title and description for use in the Courses and Grades modules. These items can vary widely in size, so increase the default item count with caution. 1000 720
