Configure the Ellucian Intelligent Learning Platform server plugin. For information about ILP connection settings, see the ILP Handbook for your SIS.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the Cloud Configuration tool.
  2. Expand the configuration that you want to update, and then click Server Plugins.
  3. In the Server Plugins list, click ILP.
  4. In the ILP Version field, select 4.x+.
  5. In the Support Service URL field, enter the URL of the ILP APIs.
    On-premises installation of ILP 4:
    • For a configuration with one ILP server, enter the URL of the website that was created for the ILP services when you ran the ILP installer. Be sure to enter the ILP services website URL, not the ILP admin website URL.
    • For a load balanced configuration with multiple ILP servers, enter the load-balancing URL.
SaaS installation of ILP 4: Enter the URL for your institution in the Ellucian Cloud. Ellucian provides that URL to you as part of your ILP implementation. The URL has the following form:
    • Production ILP instance: https://<institution_name>.ilp.elluciancloud.com:8001
    • Preview ILP instance: https://<institution_name>-preview.ilp.elluciancloud.com:8001

ILP 5: Enter the URL of the ILP API in the Ellucian Cloud:

    • Test ILP environment: https://webservices-preview.ilp.elluciancloud.com:443
  6. In ILP, get the connection ID used to access the ILP services:
    • ILP 4: In the Ellucian ILP Configuration console, go to the ILP API Credentials page and copy the ID for the ILP connection that you created. You will also need the password for that ILP connection.
    • ILP 5: In Ellucian ILP Administration, go to Settings > Service Connections and copy the identifier for the service connection that you created. You will also need the password for that service connection.
  7. In the Services Identifier field, paste the ID that you copied in step 6.
  8. In the Password field, enter the password that you defined for that ID.
  9. Click Save.
