Configure the Important Numbers module

Understand the prerequisites for important numbers.

Prerequisites

Banner and PowerCampus clients will need to establish categories for their important numbers. The categories are used to sort the numbers on the device. Before starting your setup, you should decide which categories you want to use and what you want to call those categories.

Your category codes can be long enough to be descriptive and can use mixed case and blank spaces. For example, "Local Restaurants" is a valid category code. You might also want to make a list of all your building codes to have a reference available for important numbers that are associated with buildings on your campus locations. The building codes can be found in your SIS or in the Maps module setup forms in the Cloud Configuration tool.
